St. Petersburg Half Century Softball Club

This Privacy Policy explains how the St. Petersburg Half Century Softball Club (the “Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, protects, and shares personal information, including information used for the Club’s pool-player text messaging program.

Information We Collect

Contact information, such as name, email address, mailing address, and mobile telephone number.
Club and softball information, such as membership status, pool-player status, availability, game assignments, substitute requests, and responses.
Text-message consent records, including the date and method of consent, message responses, and opt-out requests.
Information submitted through the Club website, applications, forms, email, or other direct communications.

How We Use Information

Administer Club membership, schedules, games, teams, and pool-player assignments.
Send pool players transactional text messages about substitute opportunities, availability, confirmations, cancellations, and closely related Club matters.
Respond to questions, maintain accurate records, protect the Club and its members, and comply with applicable requirements.
Operate and improve the Club website, AppSheet pool-management application, and related services.

SMS and Mobile Information

The Club sends text messages only to individuals who have expressly agreed to receive them. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. A recipient may reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance.

Mobile information, including telephone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data, will not be sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party except service providers that help the Club deliver and operate its messaging program, and only as necessary to provide those services or as required by law.

How We Share Information

We may share limited information with Club officers, authorized volunteers, team captains, and service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the Club, manage games, deliver messages, maintain technology, or comply with law. Service providers may include website hosting, Google, AppSheet, and Twilio. We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for Club operations, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal or compliance purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to reasonable recordkeeping and legal requirements. Pool players may withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP or by contacting the Club. Withdrawing SMS consent does not affect general Club membership.

Children’s Privacy

The Club’s services and messaging program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the pool-player messaging program.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The effective date at the top will show when it was last revised.
