MEET OUR BOARD


Jim Bobbett, President
Jim was born and raised in Upstate New York. He worked as an Engineer in the aerospace industry for 32 years before retiring and moving to St Pete in 2022 with wife Kristi. Besides softball, Jim enjoys golf, fishing, reading, and traveling. He joined the club in 2022.

Todd Bibza, Vice President
Todd grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from the US Naval Academy where he pitched baseball for 4 years including the NCAA Regional playoffs. He served 20 years in the Navy as an SH60B helicopter pilot. He continues to fly part time as a Lifeflight relief pilot in the Southeast region. He loves playing any sport, traveling, and hiking the National Parks.

George Nestorovich, Treasurer
George was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. He has spent 35 years in Law Enforcement and moved to Tarpon Springs in 2014. George officiates High School Sports in his off time as well as plays various sports. He spends his down time with his three dogs as well.

Richard Scearce, Secretary
Richard was born in Durham, NC. After spending much of his childhood on a farm in rural Virginia, he returned to NC to attend Elon College. He worked as a research scientist at Duke Medical Center for 40 years, retiring in 2019. Richard enjoys Duke basketball, Rays baseball as well as traveling and biking with his wife, Pamela.

Mike Sweeney, Executive Board Member
Mike grew up in Miami Florida; graduated from the University of Florida and worked with a National Design-Build general contractor. Mike retired in 2022 and joined the softball club . He enjoys his grandchildren, spending time in North Carolina and all Gator sports.

Joel McAllister, Executive Board Member
Joel was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. He began serving our country as an Army Ranger in the 3rd Ranger Battalion and then continued to serve our county as a Deputy United States Marshal in Washington DC and Jacksonville, FL. He returned to St. Petersburg in 2019 to finish out his career and retire in the city he loves. He now works part-time as a DOD contractor and enjoys running, sports and spending time with his wife (Melissa), son (Darren), and German Shepherd (Xena).

Gerard Humphreys, Executive Board Member
Originally from Hicksville, NY., Gerard served 4 years in the US Marine Corps. and then spent 25+ years as a Corrections Officer for the Nassau County, NY Sheriff’s Department. Gerard retired as a Correction Captain in 2014 and moved to Bradenton, Florida in 2016, and St. Petersburg in 2021. He has a daughter in college in NY and is a lifelong NY Mets fan. He enjoys traveling & visiting major and minor league baseball stadiums whenever he can.
